I would like to thank our customers and partners for supporting our evolution since 1924 when the company was started. Our main business has been dealing with synthetic rubber and associated products for 90years.

As time goes by, our customers' requirements will change and diversify. We believe our mission is to respond to our customers' future demands by supplying the most suitable products.

History

1924: Company was founded as Kosuge Refinery by Sakujiro Kosuge at present location. Started selling powdered sulfur to the rubber industry which was still in its infancy.
Kosuge Refinery developed steadily, started selling rubber industrial materials.

1929: Company restarted as Kosuge Shokai.

1951: Company reorganized as Kosuge Shokai Co. Ltd.

1965: Started selling sythetic rubber materials, as Japanese car industry rapidly expanded.
Company's strength developed steadily.
Adopted computerized stock control system to facilitate customer servicing.

1975: Started selling synthetic resin to the rubber industry, then the chemical industry in general.

1978: Completed company's new building.

1987: Changed the name to Kosuge Co. Ltd.
Continued to grow and develop as special rubber and chemical trading company within Japan and with the rest of the world.

1998: Changed the name to Kosuge Corporation.

2005: Acquired ISO 9001:2000

2011: We were certified as a “Tokyo work life balance Recognition enterprise” of the 2010 fiscal year.

2014: Celebrated 90th Anniversary of trading and satisflyng customers.
